As a child I was always surrounded by intriguing colorful layouts, eye catching compositions, and the smell of paint. My father, a teacher of sign painting for over 25 years, inspired my creativity and imagination at a very young age. My pastimes then involved many forms of art including drawing, painting, scratchboard, wood burning, macramé, needlework, stained glass, and photography. I developed a natural eye for composition, which I apply to my photography and to my current endeavor of painting with watercolor and oil.
