As a California native, I have a passion for the California coast and standing on the overlook just north of the Bixby Bridge along the Big Sur Coast at sunset allows one to escape into the majestic beauty and wonders of this earth that we are so fortunate to inhabit.
About Sandy Fisher
As a child I was always surrounded by intriguing colorful layouts, eye catching compositions, and the smell of paint. My father, a teacher of sign painting for over 25 years, inspired my creativity and imagination at a very young age. My pastimes then involved many forms of art including drawing, painting, scratchboard, wood burning, macramé, needlework, stained glass, and photography. I developed a natural eye for composition, which I apply to my photography and to my current endeavor of painting with watercolor and oil. I truly believe that a great photograph begins with the ability to "see" beyond the norm into the infinite beauty and mystery of the subject matter.
